Remote Immigration Paralegal for US Law Firm

About the role

We are seeking a bilingual Immigration Paralegal to support a US‑based immigration law firm. The role is fully remote, with an office planned in Buenos Aires, and involves close collaboration with attorneys to manage immigration cases from start to finish.

Key responsibilities

• Assist U.S. immigration attorneys in preparing and managing immigration cases, including family‑based petitions, adjustment of status, naturalization, and work authorizations.
• Prepare, review, and organize immigration forms, petitions, applications, and supporting documentation.
• Communicate with clients in English and Spanish to collect information, request documents, and provide case updates.
• Draft client correspondence, cover letters, and other legal documents under attorney supervision.
• Track case deadlines, application statuses, and Requests for Evidence (RFEs) while maintaining accurate client records in the case management system.

Required profile

• Fluent in written and spoken English and Spanish.
• Previous experience as an immigration paralegal, legal assistant, or similar role, preferably with a U.S. immigration law firm.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
• Professional and empathetic communication when assisting clients through complex immigration processes.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with immigration case management software (specific platforms not required).
