About the role
The Case Management Coordinator supports the Office of Non-Discrimination and Access (ONA) and the Covista Legal department in handling complaints related to protected‑characteristic harassment, discrimination, and misconduct. The role works closely with HR, Safety, Regulatory Affairs and other leaders to ensure effective responses for student safety and well‑being.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct intake of matters submitted to ONA, perform first‑line review and manage responses in line with ONA Director guidance.
- Route matters to appropriate departments, conduct intake interviews, and explain investigation processes for Title IX and non‑discrimination cases.
- Receive and respond to inquiries and complaints, maintaining proper documentation and communication records.
- Assist ONA and Legal in case management, training, and investigations under Covista’s anti‑harassment policies.
- Triage Situational Intervention Team reports, ensure follow‑up, and document actions in the SpeakUp system.
- Maintain ONA correspondence, newsletters, web pages, and departmental tracking systems.
- Analyze reporting data to identify trends and training needs across institutions.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s or graduate degree preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of higher‑education compliance experience, preferably in Title IX, ADA/Title 504, or student affairs.
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and diplomatic skills with ability to handle confidential matters.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving and data‑analysis abilities.
- Self‑starter, solution‑oriented, and able to work independently and in teams.
