Lead Operations Demand Planning Analyst

About the role

Great Minds, a publisher of math, science and ELA curricula, is hiring a Lead Operations Demand Planning Analyst remotely. Reporting to the Director, Business Operations, A&P, the role keeps inventory, production and supply chain operations in sync through accurate demand forecasting and cross-functional collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, analyze and maintain accurate demand forecasts using historical sales data, market trends and statistical models to support inventory and production planning.
• Partner with internal teams and managers to align demand forecasts with business goals, and assess supply chain capabilities and capacity.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers on lead times, capacity planning and performance so demand plans are executable.
• Support the implementation of NetSuite and Anaplan and lead the sunset and transition of Intacct and the proprietary BI demand planning tool.
• Crosstrain team members on core analysis and specialized reporting, manage transition risks and identify cost savings opportunities.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in demand planning, supply chain analytics or operations analysis, able to lead complex analyses independently.
• Track record working with managers and leadership to align demand plans, and with vendors to resolve capacity constraints.
• Experience supporting or leading ERP/system implementations and transitions (e.g. NetSuite, Anaplan, Intacct).
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business, Operations, Analytics or a related field.
