Laundry Attendant

About the role

The Laundry Attendant will perform laundry cleaning activities in line with brand and guest service standards, ensuring high guest satisfaction. This position offers a clear growth path from Room Attendant to Housekeeping Supervisor and Executive Housekeeper.

Key responsibilities

• Sort, count, and pre‑treat soiled linen for laundering.
• Load and unload washers and dryers, maintaining equipment as trained.
• Fold, store, and distribute towels and linens.
• Practice safe work habits and wear protective equipment.
• Assist with other housekeeping tasks during staffing shortages.
• Maintain clean work areas and support guest satisfaction goals.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.

Required profile

• Prior housekeeping experience is desirable.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lb, and operate heavy machinery.
• Willingness to work varied schedules, including holidays, weekends, and alternate shifts.
• Capability to use cleaning chemicals safely.
