About the role
The Municipal Court is seeking a Juvenile Case Manager to coordinate case management functions for juvenile and minor offenders. The role involves maintaining case records, conducting home, school, and office visits, and ensuring compliance with court orders.
Key responsibilities
- Receive and process juvenile and minor offenses filed in the Municipal Court.
- Oversee the Teen Court program and manage assigned juvenile caseloads.
- Conduct field visits to homes and schools to monitor compliance with court orders.
- Prepare and send reminders to juveniles and parents regarding court‑ordered obligations.
- Assist juveniles in preparing for court proceedings and enforce the court’s dress code.
- Perform case research, scan, index, and maintain case documentation.
- Supervise juvenile community service activities and process fingerprinting and transfer documentation.
- Prepare daily, monthly, and yearly reports and provide recommendations to assist the judge.
Required profile
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- At least two years of experience working with juveniles and two years of case management experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
