Job Coach / Employment Specialist

About the role

BAYADA Home Health Care is looking for ACRE‑certified Employment Specialists/Job Coaches to provide one‑on‑one support, coaching, and training to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) in community work settings.

Key responsibilities

• Empower individuals to obtain meaningful employment and develop long‑term job skills.
• Monitor progress through documentation and educate employers on the benefits of hiring people with disabilities.
• Advocate for workplace inclusion, reasonable accommodations, and community impact.

Required profile

• At least one year of experience working with IDD.
• High school diploma or equivalent (18+).
• Day‑time availability and ACRE and/or CESP certification.

Required skills

• Job coaching experience with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Knowledge of ACRE and CESP certification standards.
