Direct Support Professional

About the role

Join BAYADA Home Health Care as a Direct Support Professional (DSP) and work one‑on‑one with individuals who have intellectual and developmental disabilities. You will help them build confidence, develop life skills, and live independently in homes and community settings.

Key responsibilities

• Support daily routines such as dressing, grooming, and personal care.
• Accompany clients to appointments, errands, and community outings.
• Engage clients in hobbies, activities, and meaningful social interaction.
• Assist with daily living tasks, including meal preparation.
• Help individuals stay active, connected, and engaged in their communities.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• High school diploma or equivalent (18+).
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts and locations.
• Reliable transportation and ability to drive clients to activities.
• Willingness to travel between clients within the assigned area.
