About the role
BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a part‑time Direct Support Professional to work one‑on‑one with individuals who have intellectual or developmental disabilities in the North Philadelphia area. You will act as a companion and mentor, helping clients achieve their full potential while providing personal care and community integration.
Key responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance such as dressing and grooming.
- Accompany clients to errands, appointments, and community activities.
- Engage clients in their favorite hobbies and assist with meal preparation.
Required profile
- At least one year of experience supporting individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
- High school diploma or equivalent (must be 18 or older).
- Flexible availability for various shift types and locations, with ability to transport clients.
