IT Support Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a proactive IT Support Specialist to join ArizeAI’s fully remote team. You will be the first line of defense for our Mac‑only workforce, ensuring that devices, cloud services and compliance workflows run smoothly. The role supports a distributed engineering organization while occasionally working on‑site in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support for remote employees using MacBooks.
• Manage user accounts, access provisioning and integrations across Google Workspace, Office 365, Zoom, Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) and GitHub.
• Administer device security and compliance policies via Kandji MDM and Bitdefender.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, VPN (OpenVPN) and cloud service issues.
• Support ISO 27001, SOC 2 Type II and PCI DSS audit evidence collection and respond to security questionnaires.
• Monitor system logs, detect threats and enforce identity‑and‑access management controls.
• Document standard operating procedures, track IT and security metrics, and identify automation opportunities.
• Maintain asset inventory, software licences and endpoint lifecycle records.

Required profile

• Detail‑oriented and able to work independently in a fully remote environment.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with InfoSec, Sales and Engineering teams.
• Willingness to be based in the San Francisco Bay Area for occasional on‑site meetings and events.
