IT Intern Trainee – New York

About the role

Atlas Technica is seeking an enthusiastic Intern Trainee to join its Support team in New York. This 90‑day, onsite program provides hands‑on experience in IT service delivery for hedge fund and investment‑firm clients, preparing participants for a future Systems Engineering career.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in structured technical training and apply learning to real client tickets.
• Provide basic IT support remotely and onsite, troubleshooting hardware, software and network issues.
• Document and manage support requests using the company ticketing system.
• Collaborate with Systems Engineers, Senior Engineers and Client Technology Managers.

Required profile

• Strong interest in IT or Managed Service Provider careers, with 6–12 months of support experience or CompTIA A+ certification.
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving and customer‑service skills.
• Willingness to work full‑time onsite in New York and travel to client locations as needed.

Required skills

• Microsoft Windows and Microsoft 365.
• Basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Familiarity with Windows Server, Active Directory.
• Experience with ticketing systems and hardware/software troubleshooting.
