AI Field Engineer / Forward Deployed Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an AI Field Engineer / Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) to join our high‑velocity AI team. You will work directly with AI‑native companies to turn complex AI challenges into production‑ready systems, bridging engineering, product, and customer delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Work directly with customers to understand technical and business challenges.
• Design and build proofs‑of‑concept, MVPs, and production AI applications.
• Deploy and optimize LLM and generative AI workloads in production.
• Collaborate with customer engineering teams, account executives, and internal product/engineering teams.
• Translate customer requirements into scalable technical solutions and troubleshoot complex AI and infrastructure issues.
• Communicate architecture and trade‑offs to engineers and executive stakeholders.
• Contribute code and product improvements directly to the codebase.
• Turn customer learnings into product feedback and help shape the roadmap.

Required profile

• 3–10 years of client‑facing technical or AI/ML engineering experience.
• Strong Python programming skills.
• Experience building and deploying AI/ML or generative AI applications, including work with LLMs or open‑source models.
• Ability to work directly with customers and communicate technical concepts clearly.
• Proven track record of taking POCs toward production in ambiguous environments.
