Information Security Analyst

About the role

Commercial Bank of California is seeking a proactive Information Security Analyst to protect critical systems and strengthen cybersecurity across the organization. This full‑time, remote‑eligible position offers the opportunity to work on both preventive and detective security initiatives in a fast‑paced banking environment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, investigate, and respond to security alerts generated by enterprise security tools in partnership with management and engineering teams.
• Serve as backup administrator for a wide range of security solutions, including data loss prevention, firewalls, intrusion prevention, cloud content filtering, file integrity monitoring, email security, dark web monitoring, security awareness platforms, privileged access management, endpoint and cloud security, SIEM, and AI‑driven detection and response.
• Coordinate annual user access reviews across applications, cloud environments, network infrastructure, hypervisors, and other critical systems to strengthen access governance.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to enhance the bank’s security posture and support ongoing regulatory compliance.
• Contribute to building a strong security culture through awareness initiatives and best‑practice guidance.
