Inbound Router Supervisor – Logistics Operations

About the role

The Inbound Router Supervisor will oversee dock and dispatch operations at our New Orleans service center, ensuring efficient movement of less‑than‑truckload (LTL) freight. This role is critical to maintaining safety, quality handling, and on‑time deliveries for our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage dock activities and coordinate driver/freight‑handler scheduling.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality freight‑handling procedures.
• Dispatch LTL loads promptly and accurately.
• Collaborate with the Service Center Manager and perform additional duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Proven basic leadership experience in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong organizational, communication and logistical abilities with solid problem‑solving skills.
• Knowledge of quality freight handling preferred.
• Familiarity with the New Orleans area and surrounding regions.
• Prior LTL leadership experience strongly preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• General computer literacy.
