In-Room Dining Manager

About the role

The Loews Arlington Hotel, a large-scale resort and meetings venue in Arlington's sports district, is looking for an In-Room Dining Manager. The property supports 888 rooms, five dining venues, pools, spa services and 266,000 square feet of event space, with skybridge access to Live! by Loews. The manager leads a team responsible for room service and ensures every order is delivered with precision, care and a touch of luxury.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of in-room dining operations, ensuring timely and accurate service for every guest.
• Develop and implement service standards and procedures that elevate the guest experience.
• Partner with the culinary team to accommodate special requests, dietary needs and personalized touches.
• Monitor food and beverage presentation to maintain premium quality and brand standards.
• Recruit, train and coach team members, manage schedules, performance evaluations and team development.
• Drive revenue through upselling techniques and creative promotions.
• Maintain inventory and ensure all equipment is in proper working condition.
• Uphold hygiene and safety protocols and comply with health regulations.
• Prepare and analyze reports on service metrics, costs and guest feedback.
• Attend mandatory training sessions and meetings, and perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Minimum of two years of Food & Beverage leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of in-room dining operations, food safety and service standards.
• Problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Management, leadership, organizational and communication skills.
• High school diploma preferred.

Required skills

• Familiarity with POS systems and financial reporting tools.
• Knowledge of food safety and service standards.
