Imports Finance & Insurance (F&I) Manager

About the role

The Imports Finance & Insurance (F&I) Manager will secure vehicle sales, arrange financing, present product offerings, and protect dealership profitability while delivering top‑tier customer service. This role bridges the sales department, general office, and lending institutions.

Key responsibilities

• Secure each deal, ensure proper delivery, and generate additional income through service contracts, GAP coverage, and maintenance plans.
• Establish and manage relationships with financial institutions, process loan and lease packages accurately for timely approvals.
• Maintain total control over deal documentation, ensuring 100% compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Train and inform the sales team on lease/finance programs, insurance, and service contract benefits to maximize per‑unit profit.
• Deliver transparent, professional, and empathetic service, clearly explaining policies and coverage details.
• Conduct credit applications, rate quotations, insurance file maintenance, and prepare regular finance penetration reports.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license and meet company motor vehicle record standards.
• High ethical standards, professional appearance, and clean work environment.
• Exceptional communication skills to build collaborative relationships with customers, sales personnel, and the office.
• Deep understanding of automotive finance, aftermarket products, and federal/state auto sales regulations.
