HRI Function Coordinator

About the role

The HRI Function Coordinator supports the Harte Research Institute by planning and executing internal and external events, managing facility operations, and coordinating outreach activities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, organize, and evaluate conferences, workshops, and special activities, including budgeting, logistics, and reporting.
• Manage scheduling, setup, and breakdown of the HRI Event Room and breakout spaces, coordinating technology, signage, catering, and accessibility.
• Prepare and monitor function budgets, track expenditures, and compile performance reports.
• Coordinate outreach, tours, and institutional engagement activities with internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) and at least two years of related experience.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Required skills

• Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation applications.
• Strong planning, organization, and project coordination abilities.
• Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
