HR Generalist – 3rd Shift

About the role

Adient is hiring an HR Generalist for its Bridgewater Interiors II location in Warren, working the 3rd shift from Sunday to Thursday, 10:15 p.m. to 6:15 a.m. The role covers regulatory compliance, employee support, talent acquisition, employee relations, reporting and process improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with FMLA, EEOC, ADA and other applicable laws, and keep accurate employee records in the HRIS
• Provide employee counseling, handle routine HR inquiries and act as the main point of contact for HR policy, escalating to COEs when needed
• Conduct investigations, identify product, process or quality issues and recommend verified solutions
• Take part in hiring, including interviews, background checks and hiring decisions, and run orientation, leave and exit meetings
• Maintain a positive departmental image, support employee relations programs, coordinate plant welfare events and advise employee involvement teams
• Run the annual wage and benefit survey, prepare HR scorecards, dashboards and reports, and perform root-cause analysis to recommend process improvements
• Help develop and deliver training, improve HR service efficiency, document procedures and workflows, and support HR projects
• Maintain 5S standards, support Affirmative Action requirements, and stop the production line if a safety or quality issue arises

Required profile

• At least 1 year of related HR experience
• Ability to work the 3rd shift, Sunday to Thursday, 10:15 p.m. to 6:15 a.m.
