Housekeeping Supervisor (On Call)

About the role

Live! by Loews in Arlington, a high-energy hotel in the Arlington Entertainment District serving 300 guestrooms, multiple dining venues, an infinity-edge pool and access to Loews Arlington Hotel & Convention Center, is looking for a Housekeeping Supervisor (on call). The supervisor leads a team of housekeeping professionals, coordinates daily operations and inspects rooms and public spaces so they meet brand standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily housekeeping activities, including room cleaning, turndown service and public area upkeep
• Inspect guest rooms and public spaces for cleanliness and adherence to standards
• Assign tasks and manage workload to meet operational needs
• Respond promptly to guest requests and resolve issues professionally
• Lead, coach and motivate team members, and train them on cleaning techniques, safety procedures and brand standards
• Provide feedback and support career development
• Coordinate with Front Office and Engineering for timely room readiness
• Assist with scheduling, payroll and inventory management, and keep inspection, supply and performance records

Required profile

• Previous experience in housekeeping or hospitality required; supervisory experience preferred
• Strong organizational and leadership skills
• Ability to work weekends, holidays and flexible shifts
• Physical demands: lifting up to 45 pounds, standing for long periods, irregular schedules and mandatory training attendance

Required skills

• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, safety standards and inventory management
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Teams, PowerPoint)
