Housekeeping Houseperson

About the role

Live! by Loews in Arlington, a high-energy hotel in the Arlington Entertainment District between Globe Life Field and AT&T Stadium, is hiring a Housekeeping Houseperson. The team supports 300 guestrooms, several dining venues, an infinity-edge pool and access to the Loews Arlington Hotel & Convention Center.

Key responsibilities

• Clean all public guest room areas of the hotel as assigned
• Maintain public restrooms, lobby levels, ashtrays, elevators and tracks, ice machine areas, stairwells, building entrances and hallways
• Help room attendants empty trash and soiled linen from housekeeping carts
• Clean back-of-the-house windows as needed and vacuum guest hallways daily
• Wash guest room glassware and bring dirty glassware to housekeeping at the end of the shift
• Keep linen closets clean, stocked and organized, and bring trash to the compactor at the end of the day
• Follow radio etiquette, respond to and close HotSOS requests, and follow all department policies and procedures
• Attend departmental meetings, trainings and hotel meetings, and report problems promptly to supervisors
• Execute emergency procedures, comply with safety regulations and recycle whenever possible

Required profile

• Previous experience is an asset
• Basic English language skills
• Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
• Customer-service oriented with excellent hospitality skills
• Physical demands: standing and walking over two-thirds of the time, lifting and carrying up to 150 pounds, and special vision requirements (close, distance, peripheral and depth vision)
