Housekeeping Dispatcher

About the role

The Loews Miami Beach Hotel, a reimagined oceanfront resort in South Beach serving 790 renovated guestrooms and suites, is looking for an organized and proactive Housekeeping Dispatcher. Acting as the communication hub for the housekeeping team, the dispatcher coordinates requests, manages room status updates and keeps the team connected so guests enjoy a clean, welcoming environment. Key responsibilities

• Answer phones and radio communications to keep housekeeping and other departments connected.
• Dispatch tasks and requests to the right team members so guest needs and room statuses are handled promptly.
• Track and update room status, keeping accurate logs for the Front Office and other departments.
• Monitor room assignments and coordinate with the Front Desk so rooms are ready for check-in.
• Handle administrative duties such as filing, reconciling daily reports and internal communication.
• Attend departmental meetings and cover related areas when needed.
• Be familiar with hotel facilities and help guests with accurate information.
• Maintain friendly guest relations and follow OSHA safety protocols and emergency and chemical-use procedures.
• Attend mandatory training and perform other duties as assigned; varying schedules and regular attendance are required.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; previous cleaning experience preferred.
• Experience in a hotel or resort environment preferred.
• Ability to sit, stand, stoop, bend and walk throughout a shift.
• Excellent communication skills.
