Helpdesk Technician

About the role

Join Caron Treatment Centers as a Helpdesk Technician, providing first‑level technical support to staff across the Wernersville campus. You will be the primary point of contact for hardware, software, and network issues, ensuring a reliable technology environment that supports the organization’s mission of recovery and care.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to support requests via phone and the IMS ticketing system, troubleshoot and resolve issues or escalate as needed.
• Document incidents, service requests, and resolutions in the ITMS platform to maintain accurate records.
• Support end‑user devices including computers, mobile devices, phones, printers, and A/V equipment.
• Monitor cybersecurity alerts, report suspicious activity, and promote security awareness.
• Maintain inventory of hardware assets and assist with deployment of new technology.
• Participate in on‑call rotation to provide after‑hours coverage.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow documented procedures.
• Willingness to work in a fast‑paced healthcare environment and adhere to privacy and security policies.

Required skills

• Experience with ticketing systems (IMS) and IT service management tools (ITMS).
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and incident reporting.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting computers, mobile devices, printers, and A/V systems.
