Heavy Equipment CDL Driver

About the role

EquipmentShare is seeking a Heavy Equipment CDL Driver for its onsite rental facility in Lima, OH. The role combines safe equipment delivery with real‑time technology support, offering a chance to grow within a fast‑paced, mission‑driven company.

Key responsibilities

• Operates the vehicle in compliance with state and federal transportation laws.
• Transports loads safely and on schedule, following traffic and safety regulations.
• Loads and unloads equipment, using specialized equipment and following crew signals.
• Maintains paperwork such as invoices and bills of lading and delivers documentation to the shipping office.
• Performs routine truck service checks and reports maintenance issues.

Required profile

• Must hold a valid Class A CDL (or appropriate chauffeur’s license) for the vehicle weight.
• Must be at least 21 years old, pass a background check, DOT physical, and a 10‑panel drug screen.
• Strong interpersonal and customer‑service skills with the ability to stay focused in a busy environment.
