Head of HR Business Partner – Commercial

About the role

Wing is seeking a Head of HR Business Partner for its Commercial organization. Based onsite in Palo Alto, this senior leader will partner with C‑suite executives across Product, Marketing, Operations and Regulatory functions to shape culture, talent strategy and organizational design as the company scales.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary People Partner for senior leaders, advising on talent strategy, organizational design and high‑performing team development.
• Develop data‑driven talent plans that align with short‑term and long‑term business objectives.
• Lead organization‑design initiatives to ensure efficient structures, cross‑functional collaboration and scalability.
• Oversee cyclical talent processes including compensation reviews, talent calibrations, succession planning and employee development pathways.
• Manage complex employee‑relations matters with discretion, objectivity and empathy.
• Monitor health metrics and design targeted engagement and retention programs.
• Directly manage and mentor a small team of HR Business Partners, raising strategic capability and operational excellence.
• Drive adoption of AI tools across people programs to improve efficiency and insight.

Required profile

• 15+ years of progressive, strategic HR experience.
• Proven ability to advise C‑suite leaders on organizational design and talent strategy.
• Experience managing and developing HR Business Partner teams.
