Head of FP&A

About the role

Rescale is looking for a highly motivated Head of FP&A to own the financial planning and analysis function end‑to‑end. You will partner with executive leadership to translate strategy into financial plans, surface key metrics, and bring rigor to capital allocation and operating decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed, data‑driven financial models and ad‑hoc analytical projects, presenting results to senior management.
• Generate dashboard reports to monitor KPIs, communicate trends, and highlight risks and opportunities.
• Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting, partnering with accounting and business teams during the close process.
• Perform variance analyses, identify trends, and recommend actions for continual improvement.
• Assist in preparing QBR, Board, and investor‑related materials and presentations.
• Identify and implement automation opportunities using AI and agentic tools to increase FP&A efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a highly analytical field; MBA preferred but not required.
• 5+ years of finance or related analytical experience.
• Expert financial modeling and quantitative analysis skills.
• Exceptional communication ability and confidence working with senior decision‑makers.
• Experience in AI, software, software infrastructure, or cloud computing industries is a plus.
