Head of FP&A

About the role

Range is building an AI‑powered wealth‑management platform and needs a senior finance leader to shape its FP&A and corporate finance practice. As Head of FP&A you will bridge data and strategy, providing clarity and confidence as the company scales.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the VP of Finance to deliver the annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and long‑range plan, owning modeling, analysis, and insight.
• Build and evolve financial models and performance metrics for revenue growth, unit economics, pricing, and other core drivers.
• Execute monthly and quarterly financial reporting, variance analysis, KPI tracking, and narrative commentary for leadership.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with Sales, Marketing, Product, Operations, and Engineering to gather assumptions, stress‑test plans, and provide financial clarity.
• Streamline and automate FP&A workflows, tools, and reporting infrastructure.
• Support fundraising, board materials, due diligence, and other strategic finance initiatives.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in FP&A, transaction advisory, corporate finance, or audit (Big 4 or similar).
• MBA, CPA, or similar credential preferred.
• Strong ownership mindset, proactive, comfortable with ambiguity.
• Familiarity with SaaS metrics (ARR, churn, CAC, LTV) and/or startup experience a plus.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel and financial modeling.
• Scenario analysis.
• BI tools and data analytics.
• SQL.
• Experience with FP&A platforms such as Adaptive, Vena, Pigment, Datarails.
