Growth Lead - Data Center Power

About the role

Planted is looking for a Growth Lead to scale its fastest‑growing customer segment – hyperscalers and AI‑focused data center developers that need rapid power deployment. You will own the end‑to‑end sales process, coordinate cross‑functional teams, and build a repeatable commercial motion.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full customer journey from initial conversation to signed agreement, translating site constraints into commercial terms.
• Develop techno‑economic models that underwrite each deal, including capex/opex estimates, value‑based pricing, and risk contingencies.
• Orchestrate internal and external experts to answer technical, legal, and financial questions, ensuring no open issues remain.
• Hand off finalized deals to the delivery team with complete context and documentation.
• Iterate and codify the sales motion to enable scalable outreach, proposal structures, and pricing logic for future deals.

Required profile

• 5+ years in commercial roles at energy, infrastructure, or hard‑tech companies, managing deals end‑to‑end.
• Professional experience with physical assets that have been constructed and involvement in capital‑intensive decisions.
• Hands‑on experience in techno‑economic modeling, project pre‑construction, or infrastructure deal structuring.
• Strong client‑facing presence with technical buyers, finance teams, and executive sponsors.
• High agency and ability to move fast, influence without authority, and escalate when needed.

What we offer

• Salary range $170,000–$190,000 plus stock options.
• 11 paid company holidays, flexible PTO, and company‑paid in‑office lunches.
• Medical, vision, dental, and other benefits.
• Pre‑tax commuter benefits and 401(k) plan.
• Opportunity to play an empowered, early role in climate impact.
