Group Exercise Instructor

About the role

The Group Exercise Instructor will lead and support assigned fitness classes at the Cleveland Clinic Green Health and Wellness Center. Working under the Group Exercise Manager, you will collaborate with leadership and Exercise Physiologists to help clients achieve their health goals and improve quality of life.

Key responsibilities

• Greet members and guests, prepare the classroom and music, and ensure a world‑class experience.
• Screen participants, refer those with limitations to appropriate staff, and follow LifeStyles class formats.
• Deliver professional instruction, operate A/V equipment, and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Complete accident/injury reports, attend staff meetings, and fulfill mandatory training and certification requirements.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current Group Exercise certification from an NCCA‑accredited organization (e.g., ACE, ACSM, NETA, NASM).
• Current CPR certification and ability to work with various class formats such as Zumba, Pilates, Aqua, Cycling, or Martial Arts‑based classes.
• First aid certification preferred and adherence to PPE and infection‑control policies.
