Global Client Director – Media, Entertainment, Gaming & Sports

About the role

Qumulo is expanding its global Media, Entertainment, Gaming, and Sports business and seeks an experienced leader to drive growth. As a player‑coach, you will set the go‑to‑market strategy, work directly with senior technical buyers, and lead a small team of senior account executives.

Key responsibilities

• Own and grow the global revenue forecast, coverage model, and headcount plan for the MEGS vertical.
• Hire, retain, and coach senior account executives through long enterprise sales cycles.
• Build executive relationships at studios, broadcasters, leagues, and teams, and actively sell new logos.
• Drive complex hardware/software, cloud, and hybrid cloud sales involving OEMs, resellers, and cloud partners.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and Marketing to align customer needs with the roadmap and execute account‑based marketing.
• Represent Qumulo at industry events such as NAB, SVG, and SMPTE.

Required profile

• 10+ years selling complex technology (storage, cloud, infrastructure, data management, video, streaming, broadcast, or media asset management) to media, entertainment, sports, or production organizations.
• Proven experience managing high‑performance sales teams in a player‑coach model with a record of exceeding quotas.
• Demonstrated ability to land major new logos through demand generation.
• Deep understanding of broadcast and production workflows from ingest to playback.
• Existing relationships with global media, entertainment, sports leagues, or broadcast organizations.
• Willingness to travel across North America and globally for customer meetings and events.
