Future Talent Program – Sterile Product Development Co‑op

About the role

The 2027 Future Talent Program offers a 4‑6 month co‑op in the Sterile Product Development department, located in Rahway, NJ. You will work on formulation development of sterile pharmaceutical products across diverse modalities.

Key responsibilities

• Utilize physical and chemical characterization techniques to assess small molecules, proteins, and peptides.
• Apply modeling tools to evaluate formulation stability and performance.
• Develop small‑scale in vitro screening systems for predicting formulation outcomes.
• Plan and execute research on novel drug delivery approaches.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate (sophomore‑senior) or graduate program in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum two years of study completed by June 2027 and a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Strong academic performance, communication skills, and ability to work in a multi‑functional team.

Required skills

• Basic laboratory techniques including electronic notebook recording.
• Experience with HPLC, spectroscopy, and other analytical methods.
• Familiarity with safe lab practices and data analysis tools.
