About the role
Join Ochsner Health as a Licensed Practical Nurse on the night shift of our Medical‑Surgical unit in Crowley. You will provide direct patient care, including IV therapy, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver patient care using the nursing process: assess, plan, implement, and evaluate.
- Administer IV therapy and other treatments as ordered.
- Coordinate with ancillary nursing staff and multidisciplinary team members.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Required profile
- Current LPN license in the state of practice.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced night environment.
Required skills
- IV therapy administration.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) techniques.
