Full-Time Hospice Certified Nurse Aide (CNA)

About the role

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking an experienced Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) to provide hospice care to clients in facilities and homes throughout Berks County. This full‑time position offers a supportive, multidisciplinary environment where you will help patients remain comfortable in their preferred settings.

Key responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, toileting, and oral feeding.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, meal preparation, and bed making.
• Support mobility through ambulation assistance, transfers, and use of mechanical lifting devices.
• Monitor vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration) and provide medication assistance as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum one year of CNA work experience.
• Active, good‑standing registration on the PA Aide Registry.
• Pass the BAYADA Competency Evaluation Examination and complete a criminal background check.
• Reliable transportation and ability to communicate effectively in English.
