Full-Time EVS Linen/Housekeeping – Day Shift

About the role

The Environmental Services (EVS) Linen/Housekeeping team provides cleaning and service for guest, patient, public, clinical and administrative areas, ensuring a clean and aseptic environment. This full‑time day‑shift position supports the hospital’s commitment to safety and patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Perform cleaning duties in assigned areas during 7:00 AM‑3:30 PM shifts, including rotating weekends and holidays.
• Maintain cleanliness and aseptic conditions of patient rooms, public spaces, and environmental closets.
• Restock café and bar supplies as needed and assist with special cleaning projects and room turnover.
• Follow Joint Commission and CMS regulations for Environment of Care and cleaning standards.

Required profile

• Ability to read, write and understand verbal English instructions.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; no formal education required.
• Experience operating environmental services equipment such as dust mops, wet mops, buckets, wringers, spray bottles and dustpans; 1 year relevant experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with minimal supervision and a flexible schedule.

Required skills

• Operating environmental services equipment (dust mop, wet mop, bucket and wringer, spray bottles, dustpan).
• Basic knowledge of housekeeping procedures and cleaning equipment/supplies.
