Full Stack Software Engineer Internship

About the role

Revel is looking for a Full Stack Software Engineering Intern to help build browser‑based interfaces and backend services that enable engineers to control mission‑critical hardware. You will work closely with experienced engineers and operators, gaining end‑to‑end experience across the stack.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and improve user interfaces using React and TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Contribute to backend services, APIs, and data flows that connect hardware to front‑end applications.
• Debug issues across frontend, backend, and data systems and participate in code reviews.
• Help build greenfield projects and new products from the ground up.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field; rising junior or senior graduating 2027‑2028.
• Experience building software through coursework, personal projects, or prior internships.
• Strong problem‑solving, debugging, and communication skills.
• U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee (ITAR requirement).

Required skills

• React, TypeScript, JavaScript.
• Familiarity with backend development, APIs, and databases (SQL).
• Experience or exposure to Next.js, Node.js, Python, Rust, or C++ is a plus.
