Front Office Agent (Part-Time)

About the role

Loews Arlington Hotel and Convention Center, a full-service resort in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, is hiring a part-time Front Office Agent. The agent is the face of the hotel, greeting guests from check-in to check-out and combining professionalism with genuine hospitality in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and register guests warmly and professionally, ensuring a seamless arrival.
• Assign rooms that meet guest preferences and special requests.
• Obtain and verify credit and payment information in line with hotel policy.
• Promote hotel services, amenities and local attractions.
• Respond to guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
• Maintain knowledge of upcoming events, group bookings and banquet orders.
• Perform check-outs and handle cash transactions accurately.
• Keep the front desk and lobby clean and tidy.
• Handle emergencies while prioritising guest and team member safety.
• Attend mandatory training and meetings, and perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Passion for hospitality and pride in anticipating and exceeding guest needs.
• Clear verbal and written communication, and a proactive, detail-oriented approach.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
• Willingness to work weekends, evenings and holidays as needed.
• Regular attendance in line with standards.
• Veterans and military spouses encouraged to apply.

Required skills

• Preferred: at least one year of guest service experience in hotel hospitality.
• Preferred: experience with a property management system, such as Opera.
