About the role

Airwallex is hiring its first GTM hire for T:0, an AI-native accounting platform that automates closing, reconciliation and reporting. You will build the sales engine from scratch with no existing playbook, working from the San Francisco office three days a week.

Key responsibilities

• Run outbound sales, triage inbound leads and take founders from first conversation to paying customer
• Identify the channels that consistently create pipeline before investing heavily in them
• Own the CRM and sales process end to end: define stages, keep data clean and build a trusted pipeline
• Sell to US-based seed-to-Series-A startups through a high-volume, low-friction motion, while laying out a path toward self-serve and PLG
• As the business grows, open new segments and build longer, more considered sales motions
• Generate your own pipeline with the Head of Marketing and work closely with the Startups team

Required profile

• First or only GTM person before, with a 0-to-1 mentality and early-stage startup experience
• Comfortable selling to founders and operators at small companies through quick calls and quick decisions
• Comfortable with ambiguity, defaults to action and owns outcomes
• Track record of hitting targets and motivation by stretch goals

Preferred skills

• Experience selling fintech products, especially in accounting, bookkeeping or the founder finance stack
• Experience building and managing a CRM
• Experience using AI to automate outbound sales
