Financial Crime Analyst

About the role

Rho is seeking an experienced Financial Crime Analyst to support its fraud and anti‑money‑laundering strategy. You will work closely with the Financial Crime lead and cross‑functional teams to design detection systems, analyse alerts and help protect the platform from fraud and regulatory risk.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze fraud and AML alerts, investigate suspicious transactions and prepare SARs in line with regulatory requirements.
• Conduct transaction monitoring reviews, assess activity against AML/BSA typologies and escalate high‑risk cases.
• Document investigation processes, maintain audit‑ready records and support KYC/CIP due‑diligence reviews.
• Collaborate with Client Services, Financial Operations, Compliance and Transaction Monitoring to refine operational workflows.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in fraud risk, AML/BSA or payments operations within banking or financial services.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work independently as the primary contact for financial‑crime issues.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Excel, Google Workspace, Looker and Slack.
• Familiarity with case‑management or monitoring platforms such as Actimize, Sardine, Alloy or Unit21.
