About the role

Alcon is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support its LenSx surgical equipment across the Southeast territory. The role involves ensuring equipment reliability at customer and demonstration sites while adhering to regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

Install, test, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair Alcon surgical devices, including preventative maintenance and upgrades.
Manage daily schedules, communicate with customers, dispatch, managers, and cross‑functional teams, and document activities per GxP SOPs.
Develop relationships with customers to drive future business, including maintenance contract sales and renewals.

Required profile

Associate’s degree or equivalent experience.
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience with advanced medical devices, preferably laser‑based systems.
Ability to lift 50 lb and travel up to 30% overnight.

Required skills

Proficiency with ServiceMax or similar CRM tools.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities in high‑pressure environments.
