Associate II Electromechanical Technical Support

About the role

Alcon is seeking an Associate II to support electro‑mechanical systems within its Engineering function. The role involves troubleshooting, testing, assembling, installing, calibrating and repairing equipment to ensure high‑quality eye‑care products.

Key responsibilities

• Handle complex tasks related to design, development, implementation, operation and maintenance of electro‑mechanical systems.
• Troubleshoot, test and assemble electro‑mechanical assemblies and assist in reworking non‑conforming equipment.
• Install, calibrate, test, repair and upgrade equipment, including device components, control panels and facility infrastructure.
• Support engineers in developing technical solutions and maintain equipment using diagnostic tools and software.
• Model proposed systems with CAD software to assess safety and reliability while adhering to GxP regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (or high school + 8 years, Associate + 4 years, MS).
• Fluent reading, writing and communication in English.
• On‑site work in Johns Creek, Georgia, 12‑hour night shift schedule.

Required skills

• Computer‑aided‑design (CAD) software for system modeling.
• Diagnostic software and tools for equipment inspection and maintenance.
