Field Recruiter - Skilled Trades (Solar, Roofing, Electricians)

About the role

A US-based fast-growing company focused on solar energy and roofing solutions in Texas is looking for a Field Recruiter to lead hiring for its field operations. The recruiter sources, interviews and hires skilled trades professionals such as electricians, solar installers and roofers, and helps build efficient hiring processes. Candidates must live in Latin America and submit their CV in English; a short Loom video presentation is optional but gives priority.

Key responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle recruiting for field positions across Texas, sourcing, screening, interviewing and hiring skilled trades professionals.
• Develop and run recruiting strategies and build, optimise and document recruiting workflows and hiring best practices.
• Manage candidate pipelines and coordinate interviews, communicating clearly with candidates.
• Make hiring recommendations and act as the primary decision-maker for field hiring.
• Track recruiting metrics and improve hiring efficiency.
• Build relationships with trade schools, referral networks and job boards, and ensure a good candidate experience through onboarding.

Required profile

• 2+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in construction, solar, skilled trades, manufacturing, logistics or other blue-collar fields.
• Proven experience recruiting laborers such as electricians, roofers, installers or technicians.
• Experience managing full-cycle recruiting in a fast-paced environment.
• Advanced English (written and spoken).
• Nice to have: experience hiring for solar or roofing companies, familiarity with recruiting CRMs or ATS platforms, knowledge of recruiting metrics.
