Executive Vice President, Impact

About the role

BerlinRosen is seeking an Executive Vice President to lead its Impact team, developing and executing high‑impact communications campaigns on issues such as healthcare, democracy, immigration, gender and racial equity. The role is based in New York (or Washington, D.C.) on a hybrid schedule, with the team in‑office at least three days a week.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the Managing Director to drive practice growth and generate substantial new business.
• Oversee team organization, alignment, and motivation to meet revenue, profitability and efficiency targets.
• Provide top‑tier client service and strategic communications guidance across owned, earned, paid and digital channels.
• Lead cross‑functional collaboration, foster a diverse and inclusive culture, and ensure continuous professional development.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in campaign politics, strategic communications, media relations, digital strategy, advocacy or journalism.
• Proven track record in business development, client management and building a strong professional network.
• Extensive experience managing communications teams, promoting morale and supporting staff growth.
• Personal commitment to social justice and passion for advancing social change.

What we offer

• Salary range $200,000 – $240,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
• Eligibility for end‑of‑year performance‑based bonuses.
