Project Director - Pharmaceutical Marketing

About the role

P10 is looking for a Project Director in New York who will mentor project managers and senior project managers, partner with account and creative leaders, and steer the operational success of major client engagements. The role reports to the Head of Project Management and balances client service with delivery quality.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee delivery of complex, high-value, multi-channel pharmaceutical marketing campaigns.
• Partner with account leads and creative leadership so work meets strategic and regulatory requirements and exceeds client expectations.
• Anticipate risks, resolve issues and protect delivery timelines and budgets.
• Own financial oversight for large accounts and portfolios, including forecasting, revenue recognition and margin management.
• Identify opportunities for growth, efficiency and profitability, and contribute to agency-level operational planning and resourcing.
• Serve as discipline lead for Project Management, setting standards, processes and best practices.
• Mentor project managers and senior project managers, and lead knowledge-sharing sessions and tools training.
• Advise clients and internal teams and share thought leadership on process optimization, workflow design and cross-functional collaboration.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in communications, business, project management or a related field.
• 6-10 years of project management experience in a pharmaceutical marketing agency.
• Proven track record leading large, cross-functional client programs and managing high-value accounts.
• Deep knowledge of medical, legal and regulatory (MLR) processes in the US and/or Canada.
• Exceptional leadership, coaching and mentoring skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.
