Senior Copywriter - Pharmaceutical Marketing

About the role

A Senior Copywriter is needed to create compelling and compliant copy for a range of pharmaceutical marketing channels. The role reports to the Associate Creative Director and is open to remote candidates in the United States, with a preference for those in the Eastern time zone.

Key responsibilities

• Write and review copy for pharmaceutical marketing materials, including digital and print initiatives such as brochures, websites, banner ads and emails
• Align copy with briefs, strategic and creative direction and brand guidelines, and implement tone of voice and style requirements
• Manage and prioritise multiple projects while meeting strict deadlines
• Work with art resources to ensure continuity between copy and design
• Keep up to date with medical and regulatory direction so that content is accurate and compliant
• Research references, build annotations and create accurate citations where needed
• Present copy and final deliverables to the internal team and contribute ideas aligned with the brand's marketing strategy

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, life sciences or a related field
• 4+ years of copywriting experience, preferably in a pharmaceutical setting
• In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations and industry trends
• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work closely with team members across departments
