Executive Director (Senior Living) - LNHA Required

About the role

Monarch/Brandywine Senior Living is hiring an Executive Director for its senior living community in Rehoboth Beach. This is an exempt, salaried position reporting to the Regional Director of Operations, overseeing the overall management and day-to-day operations of the community. The salary range is $135,000 - $140,000 per year.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of community operations, revenue generation, staff development, quality assurance, regulatory compliance and safety.
• Create a resident-focused culture for residents, families and associates.
• Develop and execute the business strategy to meet operational and financial targets.
• Manage state, federal and company regulatory compliance and set quality assurance standards.
• Take direct responsibility for the financial management of the community.
• Handle human resources functions such as recruitment, associate development and disciplinary action.
• Lead the Sales and Marketing process to meet or exceed occupancy and revenue targets.
• Occasional weekend coverage as Manager on Duty.

Required profile

• College degree and administrator's license or certification (LNHA) required.
• Prior leadership experience in the healthcare industry preferred.
• Demonstrated success in managing operating expenses.
• Previous sales or business development experience preferred.
• Ability to lift or carry up to 50 lbs and support residents intermittently, using proper body mechanics.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel).
• Excellent written and verbal communication and team leadership.
