About the role
Operation: Job Ready Veterans is seeking a dedicated Employment Transition Manager to guide, support, and advocate for service members, veterans, and their families as they transition to civilian employment.
Key responsibilities
- Provide one‑on‑one support to veterans, helping them build effective civilian and federal resumes, prepare for interviews, and develop job search strategies.
- Identify and overcome employment barriers by offering personalized guidance and referrals to supportive services.
- Track client progress and maintain accurate case documentation using Salesforce.
- Maintain post‑training contact with clients to encourage lasting success.
- Partner with employers to promote job opportunities, represent OJRV at hiring events and community meetings, and facilitate introductions between clients and potential employers.
- Keep employer and outreach data organized and up to date.
