About the role

Cogent Scientific is seeking a Pharma Scientific Recruiter to support its laboratory leadership team in Indianapolis. The role focuses on attracting and hiring scientists with molecular biology and biochemistry expertise to help expand the company’s research capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Source and screen candidates, primarily those with molecular biology and biochemistry backgrounds.
• Schedule interviews and coordinate meetings with candidates and internal stakeholders.
• Prepare and deliver required documentation to the leadership team promptly.
• Maintain consistent communication with candidates and hiring managers.
• Leverage social media and other channels to attract scientific talent.

Required profile

• BS in Biology, Chemistry, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience recruiting scientists at all levels (BS through PhD).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
