Healthcare Recruiter - Talent Acquisition

About the role

Jupiter Medical Center, ranked #1 for safety, quality and patient satisfaction in Palm Beach County, is hiring a full-time Talent Acquisition / Healthcare Recruiter. The position works directly with the Director of Human Resources Talent & Culture and collaborates with department leadership to fill open vacancies.

Key responsibilities

• Create a recruiting and interviewing plan for each open position and lead the process
• Use social and professional networking sites to source candidates and build networks with them
• Research and recommend new sources for active and passive recruiting, and educate the HR team and operational leads on effective recruiting methods
• Hold regular follow-up meetings with managers to review recruiting plans and present ideas to improve recruiting strategy
• Participate in recruitment events, facilitate onboarding and scheduling of new-hire orientation, and promote the hospital's culture and brand to candidates
• Lead recruiting debriefing sessions with the HR team and operational leads, and act as a process improvement steward
• Work closely with hiring managers to secure fast job postings, offers, screening and onboarding

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, HR management, clinical or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Two years of healthcare recruiting experience, including direct sourcing such as cold calling and social media
• Experience in high-volume recruiting preferred
• Knowledge of recruitment metrics such as turnover, vacancy rates and time to fill

Required skills

• Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite and applicant tracking systems
• Strong communication, organizational and project management skills
• Ability to work independently, make sound decisions and handle stress
