Employer Relations Coordinator – Job Locator & Development Program

About the role

The Employer Relations Coordinator supports the Job Locator and Development (JLD) program, linking employers with Tarleton State University students for part‑time work, internships, and entry‑level positions. The role is based on‑site in Stephenville and involves regular interaction with employers, faculty, staff, and students.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for the JLD program, managing employer outreach and supporting recruitment activities across all university locations.
• Maintain and promote the university student employment system, ensuring job posting integrity and assisting employers with platform use.
• Represent the Career Center at networking events, career fairs, and employer site visits to strengthen partnerships.
• Collaborate with faculty, staff, and community partners to align employer hiring needs with student talent pipelines.
• Track and report employment trends and outcomes to university leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Experience in employer relations, workforce development, or career services preferred.
• Strong knowledge of university majors, degree programs, and workforce initiatives.

Required skills

• Proficiency with university career management platforms and related databases.
• Ability to analyze and report employment data.
