About the role

The Emergency Department Technician provides direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse in the emergency department. This role supports nursing and hospital administration by delivering technical skills and treatments while ensuring compliance with policies.

Key responsibilities

Provides direct patient care with supervision of a registered nurse.
Performs clinical duties according to departmental competency standards.
Accurately documents patient‑related tasks and maintains required certifications.
Adapts communication and behavior to meet the needs of diverse patient populations.

Required profile

High school diploma or equivalent.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) required upon hire.
Proficiency with computers, software, and web‑based applications.

Required skills
