About the role

Phelps Health is seeking a part‑time Non‑Invasive Cardiovascular Technician to perform diagnostic cardiovascular procedures. The role supports the Cardiology department by conducting EKGs, stress tests, Holter and event monitoring, and related scanning.

Key responsibilities

• Perform a variety of tests including EKGs, stress tests, Holter monitors, event monitors, and scanning of monitor data.
• Manage workload, prioritize tasks, and assist with ordering and stocking supplies.
• Verify physician orders and provide comprehensive patient/family education about procedures.
• Accurately bill and process procedures.
• Clean and sterilize equipment according to proper techniques.
• Collaborate as a team member, meet deadlines, and contribute to quality initiatives.

Required profile

• High school graduate or equivalent; completion of an EKG certification program preferred.
• EKG experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support certification (American Heart Association) required; Certified EKG Technician (CET) preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 35 lb, and perform repetitive motions; mental concentration for extended periods.
