Director of Procurement (Remote)

About the role

The Director of Procurement will lead Rula’s end‑to‑end purchasing process, reporting directly to the CFO. This senior position oversees strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and spend analysis while driving efficiency through the Zip procurement platform.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full procurement lifecycle from intake request to contract renewal, ensuring fair pricing and strong service levels.
• Lead strategic sourcing initiatives, negotiate complex vendor contracts, and maintain an auditable record of commitments.
• Analyze spend, build financial models, and align purchasing decisions with budgetary constraints.
• Improve the Zip platform’s intake routing, approval speed, and user experience, leveraging AI and automation.
• Collaborate with Legal, Privacy, AI, Security, and Finance teams to meet business needs while upholding compliance.

Required profile

• 10+ years of progressive procurement experience, including 7+ years in strategic sourcing.
• Proven track record of drafting, negotiating, and managing commercial contracts.
• Strong analytical background in spend analysis, financial modeling, and budgeting.
• Experience managing multiple sourcing projects in fast‑paced environments.
